APJ ORDINANCE AMENDING THE AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH
TFtANSYSTEMS CORPORATION TO PROVIDE FOR AN EXPANDED 5COPE OF SERVICES
IN CONNECTION WITH DESIGN, SURVEY AND PLATTING WITHIN THE HORIZONS
DE?VELOPMENT AREA
WHEREAS, the City of Riverside, Missouri ("City") entered into an agreement with
TranSystems Corporation ("TranSystems") for provision of survey, design and engineering
services related to the construction of the I-635 and Van de Populier Interchange and Horizons
P��rkway pursuant to Ordinance 2003-24 (hereinafter the "AgreemenY'); and
WHEREAS, there is a need to amend the Scope of Services under such agreement as
set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City
of Riverside to provide for such additional Services;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1— AMENDMENT APPROVED. Execution and delivery of an amended
scope of services with TranSystems Corporation in substantially the form attached hereto as
E�:hibit A, in the amount of $28,477 is hereby approved, ratified and authorized as Supplement #10
to the Agreement.
SECTION 2— AUTHORITY GRANTED. The Mayor, the City Administrator, the City
Attorney and other appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as
may be deemed necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this
Ordinance and to execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments,
agreements and other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to perform all matters
he�rein authorized.
SECTION 3— EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordina� e shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval, the �f day of AL�.�%,u�L!J , 2010.

Survey Scope of Services - Final Plat Preparation
■ Coordinate with crews and basic Project Management.
■ Verify and/or Establish Horizontal Control throughout the project limits on Missouri State Plane
Coordinate System, NAD83 (1997adjustment), West Zone.
■ Verify locacion and condition of approximately four existing Section Corners.
■ Search and Locace Interior and Adjacent property corner positions.
• Prepare a Final Plat (Name To Be Determined), of the area previously designated by the City of
Riverside.
■ Attend weekly progress meetings at Riverside City Hall and present Final Plat progress results
for the following dates and times;

0 8:30am Friday 12/31/2010
• Set exterior Final Plat corners, estimating 10 positions.
■ After 415� Street Construction or within 12 months of Final Plat Recording — Set interior Lot
and Right-of-Way corners, estimating 25 positions.
Deliverables and Dates:
■ 12/10/2010 — ISL Draft of Final Pla[ (paper print) for City Meeting to discuss progress and
comments.
■ 12/17/2010 — 2 " d Draft of Final Plat (paper print) for City Meeting to discuss progress and
comments.
■ 12/31/2010 — 3 rd DraR of Final Plat (paper print) for City Meeting to discuss progress and
comments.
■ 01105l201 I— Submit the Final Plat to City of 4 full size paper prints and I reduced I Ixl7 paper
print.
■ February, 201 I(date is contingent with Public Hearing and Alderman Meetings) — Submit Final
Plat to City of 4 full size Mylar prints and 7 full size Paper prints for signatures and recording.
Survey Assumptions and Exclusions:
■ The City of Riverside will provide current Title Reports for all properties and owners within the
designated Final Plat area, by or before Friday December 31, 2010.
■ Schedule for Final Plat Approval is contingent upon the necessary deliverables by the Client such
as but not inclusive to the Title Reports, The estimated timeline will be subject to change
accordingly with unforeseen delays.

■ Phase I Environmental 5ite Assessments are excluded from our scope of services. If deemed
necessary the client will provide this service.
■ No re-zoning is part of this scope of services. The City of Riverside will provide Zoning
Designation prior to the 01/05/201 I submittal date for inclusion on Final Plat.
■ No Preliminary Plat will be necessary or required, by order of the City of Riverside.
■ The Final Plat name is presently "To Be Determined" and will be provided by the City of
Riverside prior to the 0 1 /05120 1 I submittal date.
■ Set monumentation of the exterior Final Plat corners and interior Lot and Right-of-way corners
is to be field set one time only.
■ Construction Layout services are excluded from this scope of services.
■ Geotechnical Boring locations are excluded from this scope of services.
