AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN KANSAS CITY POWER AND LIGHT AND CITY OF RIVERSIDE FOR A
LICENSE FOR ELECTRICAL FACILITIES FGR SERVICE TO A SEWER
PUMPING STATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVEFSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to
execute the attached agreement between Kansas City Power and
Light and the City relating to electrical service to the City's
sewer pump station at Highway 9 and Northwood Road.
Secticn 2. The appropriate officials are also authorized
to take any further action to effectuate the intent of this
agreement.

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made this ~ day of ~1~/aby and between The
City of Riverside of Platte County, Missouri, hereinafter called Licensor and
KANSAS CITY POWER & LIGHT COMPANY, a corporation, hereinafter called Licensee.
WITNESSETH:
For and in consideration of the mutual covenants herein contained, it is agreed by
the parties as follows:
1. Licensor hereby authorizes and grants to the Licensee, its employees and
agents the right to enter upon, erect, construct and maintain a service distribution line
consisting of overhead wires, poles, down guys and anchors and other equipment as
shown on attached drawing, Kansas City Power & Light Company Drawing
Job NO. 5-49014-C, dated September 5, 1991, for temporary service 350 Feet Northeast
of 9 Highway and Northwood in Riverside, Platte County, Missouri, for an indefinite period
of time terminating ninety (90) days after need for making electric service available to the
owners and/or tenants occupying said premises has ceased.
2. The wires, poles, down guys and anchors, and other equipment installed
by authority of this agreement is and shall continue to be the property of the Licensee
and may be repaired, replaced or removed at its discretion and Licensee shall have the
right of ingress and egress over said premises for such purpose.
3. Should it become necessary to relocate the electric facilities described in the
above described agreement, Licensor shall provide Licensee with another acceptable
location for the installation and maintenance of said facilities and Licensor will reimburse
Licensee for its entire cost and expense in making such relocation and shall furnish
Licensee with a good and sufficient easement for power lines and all appurtenances
thereof in such new location.
4. Equipment shall be installed in accordance with the standards of the
f~fational Electric Safety Code.
