AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING DONATION OF 29,1 ACRF•.S FROM EDWARD
H, YOUNG AND CLARA A, YOUNG FOR USE AS A CITY PARK,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CI'PY CF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City hereby accepts the donation from
Edward H, Young and Clara A, Young, husband and wife, of 29,1
acres, more particularly described as follows:
T RA CT A
All of Lots 41, 42, 43, 44 and 45, and the South 30.00 feet
of Lot 39, RED X PLAZA, a subdivision of land in the City
of Riverside, Platte County, Missouri. The above tract of
land contains 18.33 acres more or less.
TRacT B:
All that part of Lot 46, RED X PLAZA, a subdivision of land
in the city of Riverside, Platte County, Missouri, lying
westerly of a line parallel to the west line of said Lot
46; said Line being 420.23 feet easterly as measured along
the North line of said Lot 46, as measured from the
intersection of the west line and the North line of said
Lot 46. The above described tract of land contains 2.65
acres more or less.
TRACT C:
All that part of Tract I and Lots 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and
30, RED X PLAZA, a subdivision of land in the city of
Riverside, Platte County, Missouri, described as follows:
Commencing at the SE corner of said Lot 26, thence South 75
degrees, 20 minutes 40 seconds West, along the South line
of said Lot 26, a distance of 67.36 feet to the point of
beginning of the tract of land herein to described; thence
North 0 degrees 33 minutes 32 seconds East, a distance of
507.19 feet to a point on the North line of said Let 30;
thence South 71 degrees 44 minutes 32 seconds GJest along
the Northerly line of said Lots 30, 29 and 28, a distance
of 374.88 feet; thence along a curve to the left, tangent
to the last described course having a radius of 74.8 feet,
an arc distance of 92.93 feet, thence South 0 degrees 33
minutes 32 seconds West, along the West line of said Lots
27 and 28, a distance of 390.00 feet; thence along a curve
to the left, tangent to the last described course, having a
radius of 27.33 feet, an arc distance of 50.19 feet; thence
North 75 degrees 20 minutes 40 seconds East, along the
southerly line of said Lots 27 and 26, a distance of 384.49
feet to the point of beginning. The above tract of land
contains 4.57 acres more or less. Including all areas in
roadways, approximately 3.51 acres.

Quit Claim Deed executed by Edward H, Young and Clara A. Young,
which deed is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

The terms of the conveyance herein made are expressly subject
to the following condition, the breach of which will cause
fee simple title to the property to become vested in Salvation
' Army, an Illinois corporation, with offices, as of the date
of this deed, at 101 W. Linwood, Kansas City, Missouri 69111.
In the event of the transfer to the Salvation Army, it is the
grantor's request that the property and/or its proceeds be
used by Salvation Army for the benefit of children. 'Phe express
:i condition-of this conveyance to the City of Riverside is as
li follows:

~~' Any and all condemnation awards or payments in lieu thereof,
shall be the property of Salvation Army aforesaid, provided
