AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 3, SECTION 31 OF THE
RIVERSIDE CODE AND ENACTING A NEW CHAPTER 3, SECTION 31.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 3, Section 31 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Riverside is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. That a new Section designated as Chapter 3,
Section 31 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Riverside,
Missouri shall be enacted to read as follows:
"Hours. It shall be unlawful for any
licensee to permit the drinking or
consumption of intoxicating liquors on or
about the licensee's premises by any person
between the hours of 1:30 a.m. and '0:00 a.m.
and between the hours of 1:30 a.m. Sunday
and 6:00 a.m. Monday, except for Sunday
sales licensees, which may serve
intoxicating liquors between the hours of
11:00 A.M. and 12:00 midnight on Sunday. In
addition, it shall be unlawful for any
licensee to permit the drinking or
consumption of intoxicating liquors on or
about the licensee's premises by any person
after 1:30 a.m. upon the day of any general
election in this State held on the first
Tuesday after the first Monday in November
of even-numbered years and the primary
election held preceding such general
election; except that the sale of
intoxicating liquor may be resumed and the
premises reopened on any such general or
primary election day after the expiration of
30 minutes next following the hour or time
fixed by law for the closing of the polls at
any such election."
