A special meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri, was held in the City Hall,
of Riverside, Missouri, on May 29, 2007 at 6:30 p.m
Those in attendance were Mayor Kathy Rose, Aldermen Fuller, Bruns, Dazata, Hurt, Salyer and
Super.
Also present were David Blackburn, City Administrator, Louise Rusick, City Clerk, Chief
Gregory Mills, Brent Miles, Duector of Planning & Economic Development, Jeff Rupp, Public Works
Duector, Donna Resz, Finance Officer, Lori Rardeen, and John McClelland, City Attorney.
Finance Officer's Donna Resz presented the boazd with a power point presentation on this part
presentation of the budget as listed below:

Municipal Court & Contractual Services requested 2007-08
Computer Equipment request $1,500 and prisoner expense increased
for a budget request of $35,000
Staff will be conducting a study to determine costs and benefits related to 2
Court nights per month

Alderman Hurt asked that the computer equipment be replaced as needed and
not all at once.
Mayor's comment Shayla Jones, Court Clerk received her Court Clerk Certification at the Court
Clerk's Conference recently.
The Mayor from Wood Heights is again interested in the old warning signal
system on the old P.S. building.
Public Works Jeff mentioned the vandalism in the E.H. Young Park and that all the wire was
cut to the electric poles and an electrician is coming into put everything back.
Video surveillance in the parks would cost $200,000.
Adjournment Alderman Darata moved the meeting adjourn, seconded by Alderman
at 8:00 p.m Hurt, the vote was:
Aye: Aldermen Fuller, Bums, Darata, Salyer, Hurt and
Motion carries.
