A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING, APPROVING AND RATIFYING CHANGE ORDERS 1 AND
2 TO THE AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE AND SIGNATURE
IRRIGATION FOR IRRIGATION ON THE ARGOSY CASINO PARKWAY NORTH PROJECT
RESULTING IN A REVISED CONTRACT AMOUNT OF $137,833.61 FOR SUCH PURPOSES
AND AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT UNDER SAID CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City selected Signature Irrigation to perform services related to the
installation and maintenance of irrigation systems within the City pursuant to R-2010-082; and
WHEREAS, Change Orders 1 and 2 on the Argosy Casino Parkway North Project have been
submitted and resulting in a reduction in the amount due to Signature Irrigation in the amount of
- $21,331.93; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find it is in the best interest of the City to authorize,
approve and ratify Change Order 1 and 2 to the agreement with Signature Irrigation in the amount
of -$21,331.93, resulting in a total revised contract final pay amount not to exceed $137,833.61;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT Change Orders 1 and 2 to the Agreement entered into by and between the City
and Signature Irrigation and incorporated herein by reference resulting in a revised contract
amount not to exceed $137,833.61, are hereby authorized, ratified and approved.
FURTHER THAT all work under the contract with Signature Irrigation is hereby
accepted and approved and final payment under the contract is hereby authorized and
approved;
FURTHER THAT The City Administrator and all other required city officials are
authorized to execute the change order authorized herein together with any and all
documents necessary or incidental to the performance thereof and to take such other actions
and/or execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments,
agreements and other documents as may be deemed necessary or convenient to carry out
and comply with the intent of this Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by tl7e Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor

RE• Change Order for the Irrigation Contract on Argosy Casino Parkway North.
BACKGROUND: Previously, staff presented an irrigation contract for the Argosy Casino Parkway
North project. Signature Irrigation was awarded the contract. An updated
contract amount was submitted after the bid deadline due to calculation errors
and change orders occurred during the project.
Original Contract Amount $ I 59, I 65.54
Updated Amount $ I 28,256.18
Net Change Orders $9,577.43
Final Contract Amount $ I 37,833.61
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution and acceptance of the Change
Order with Signature to finalize the irrigation project along Argosy Casino
Parkway North.
BUDGETARY IMPACT: The final contract amount is not to exceed $137,833.61 and will be expended
out of the irrigation budget for the construction under this contract.
