A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING, APPROVING AND RATIFYING A GENERAL WARRANTY
DEED FROM NORTH RIVER HOLDINGS, LLC IN CONNECTION WITH THE NORTHWOOD
ROAD PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the Riverside Board of Aldermen ("Board") hereby approves, accepts and ratifies
the General Warranty Deed, in substantially the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, from North
River Holdings, LLC;
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator, the City Attorney and other
appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed
necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to
execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements and
other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to perForm all matters herein authorized.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by th Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of
the City of Riverside, Missouri, the /g�y of October, 2011.

RE: Northwood Road Easement — North River Holdings
BACKGROUND: North River Holdings has provided the City with a general warranty deed to
acquire right of way for completion of the trail system in Phase I of the '
Northwood Road project adjacent to Montebella subdivision. The construction
contractor on the project has already completed trail improvements for this fall.
Construction to complete this segment will not begin until remobilization next
spring. This will complete the section of trail from 52n street to 9 Hwy.
Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding easement
acquisitions for this project.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution accepting the conveyance.
BUDGETARY IMPACT: The right of way was donated to the City by the property owner.
