A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MIKE SOLER TO THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the composition of the Riverside Planning & Zoning Commission is set forth in
Section 400.160 of the City Code and provides for the appointment of nine (9) Planning & Zoning
Commission citizen members by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Aldermen; and
WHEREAS, Evelyn Poe was originally appointed to the Planning & Zoning Commission in
2003 and was reappointed to serve a second term in 2007, expiring in May 2011, or until a successor
was duly appointed; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor desires to appoint Mike Soler to the position vacated by Evelyn Poe on
the Planning and Zoning Commission, expiring in May 2015, or until a successor is duly appointed;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find it is in the best interest of the city to approve and ratify
such appointment as proposed by the Mayor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the appointment of Mike Soler, Ward II, 5005 NW Flintridge, Riverside Missouri; is
hereby appointed by the Mayor and ratified by the Board of Aldermen as a member of the Planning &
Zoning Commission to the remainder of a 4 year term ending in May 2015, or until a successor is duly
appointed; and
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of the
City of Riverside, Missouri, the 18th day of October, 2011.
