A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL ESTATE TO MICHAEL
AND MARY BETH SMITH
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Riverside Board of Aldermen ("Board") hereby approves the quit claim
deed document, in substantially the form attached hereto, from the City to
Michael and Mary Beth Smith, and further authorizes the Mayor to execute such
document on behalf of the City.
2. That the City Attorney or her designee is hereby authorized to file a fully
executed copy of the document with the Platte County Recorder of Deeds o�ce.
3. That the Mayor, the City Administrator, the City Attorney and other appropriate
City o�cials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed
necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution
and to execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates,
instruments, agreements and other documents, as may be necessary or
convenient to perform all matters herein authorized.

QUIT CLIAM DEED
THIS INDENTURE, made effective as of the o�Q� day of l-> C� , 2011, by and
between the City of Riverside, Missouri, a municipal corporation ("Grantor") and Michael and
Mary Beth Smith, husband and wife ("Grantee"), 3009 NW Vivion Road, Riverside, Missouri
64150. The mailing address of the Grantor is 2950 NW Vivion Road, Riverside, Missouri 64150.
WITNESSETH, that Grantors, for and in consideration of the sum of TEN AND NO/100
DOLLARS ($10.00) and other good and valuable consideration to them duly paid, the receipt �
and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, by these presents do REMISE, RELEASE --
and FOREVER QUIT CLAIM to the Grantee, all of the following described real property �

A Tract of land located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 4, Township 50 North, Range
33 West of the 5`" Principal Meridian, City of Riverside, Platte County, Missouri being described
as follows.
Commencing at the Southeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 4;
Thence North 89 degrees 31 minutes 59 seconds West, along the South line of said
Northwest Quarter, a distance of 416.08 feet, to the Point of Beginning of the herein described

RE: Conveyance of Real Estate for the Vivion Road WestlCliNview Drive Bridges/Renner
Brenner Trail Projects.
BACKGROUND: During the construction of the referenced projects, a significant impact was
made to the surrounding area of the Smith property. Part of the negotiations
included a conveyance of real estate along the South property line as to not
disturb any trees and preserve the natural barrier to Cliffview Drive.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution and acceptance of conveyance of
real estate to Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
