KCMO originally was adamant that it needed an exclusive private 60' wide easement for the main. Staff negotiated the terms to reduce the width to 40' and provide for a joint dedication to Riverside and KCMO. Most importantly, the easement also allows Riverside to grant the right to use of the easement area to others as long as there is no interference with the right to lay and maintain the sanitary sewer improvemenu. The installation of pavement and landscaping is specifically allowed within the easement area. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact either of us prior to the meeting. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval.
