A RESOLUTION RE-APPOINTING NORMA PARROTT TO THE PARK BOARD OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI
WHEREAS, the composition of the Riverside Park Board provides for the appointment of
seven (7) citizen members by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Aldermen; and
WHEREAS the service of the members of the board is limited to no more than two
consecutive four-year terms by the Park Board By-Laws; and
WHEREAS, Norma Parrott was originally appointed to the Park Board on September 5, 2007
to serve an a four-year first term expiring in September, 2011.
WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended the re-appointment of Norma Parrott to a second
and final four year term, expiring in May 2015, or until a successor is duly appointed; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find it is in the best interest of the city to approve and ratify
such appointment as proposed by the Mayor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the re-appointment of Norma Parrott, Ward II, 5031 NW Woodside Drive, Riverside
Missouri; is hereby appointed by the Mayor and ratified by the Board of Aldermen as a member of the
Park Board to a four year term ending in May 2015, or until a successor is duly appointed; and
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of the
City of Riverside, Missouri, the 21st day of February 2012.
