A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PLACE ON FILE FOR A PERIOD OF
NINETY DAYS CERTAIN UNIFORM CODES REGULATING THE CONSTRUCTION OF
BUILDINGS AND CONTINUED OCCUPANCY THEREOF; MECHANICAL, PLUMBING AND
ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION; AND FIRE PREVENTION
WHEREAS, the City of Riverside desires to consider the adoption of certain uniform
codes regulating the construction of buildings and continued occupancy thereof; mechanical,
plumbing and electrical construction; and fire prevention; and
WHEREAS, Section 67.280 of the Missouri Statutes requires the City to place such
uniform codes on file in the office of the City Clerk for a period of ninety days, prior to adopting
of an ordinance adopting such uniform codes.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the City Clerk is hereby directed to place on file for public use, inspection and
examination for a period of at least ninety (90) days, the following codes:
. 2009 International Building Code
. 2009 International Plumbing Code
• 2009 International Fuel Gas Code
• 2009 International Mechanical Code
• 2008 International Series of the National Electrical Code
• 2009 International Fire Code
. 2009 International Residential Code for One and Two Family Dwellings
. 2009 ICC A117.1 Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities
• 2009 International Existing Building Code
FURTHER THAT this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by th� Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of
