A RESOLUTION APPOINTING JIM FRAKES TO THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the composition of the Riverside Planning & Zoning Commission is set forth in
Section 400.160 of the City Code and provides for the appointment of nine (9) Planning 8 Zoning
Commission citizen members by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Aldermen; and
WHEREAS, Tyson Spire-Sweet was originally appointed to the Planning & Zoning
Commission in 2009 expiring in 2013, or until a successor was duly appointed; and
WHEREAS, Tyson Spire-Sweet has resigned from the Planning & Zoning Commission and
there is a need to fill the vacancy created by such resignation; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor desires to appoint Jim Frakes to the position vacated by Tyson Spire-
Sweet on the Planning and Zoning Commission, expiring in 2013, or until a successor is duly
appointed; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find it is in the best interest of the city to approve and ratify
such appointment as proposed by the Mayor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RiVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the appointment of Jim Frakes, Ward I, 1900 NW Woodland, Riverside Missouri; is
hereby appointed by the Mayor and ratified by the Board of Aldermen as a member of the Planning &
Zoning Commission to the remainder of a 4 year term ending in May 2013, or until a successor is duiy
appointed; and
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of the
City of Riverside, Missoun, the 17th day of April, 2012.
