A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MIKE LOMBARDO TO THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the composition of the Riverside Planning & Zoning Commission is set forth in
Section 400.160 of the City Code and provides for the appointment of nine (9) Planning & Zoning I
Commission citizen members by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Aldermen; and
WHEREAS, Barbara Snyder was originally appointed to the Planning & Zoning Commission in
2000 and reappointed in 2004 and 2008 expiring in May 2012, or until a successor was duly
appointed; and
WHEREAS, Barbara Snyder has resigned from the Planning & Zoning Commission and there
is a need to fill the vacancy created by such resignation; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor desires to appoint Mike Lombardo to the position vacated by Barbara
Snyder on the Planning and Zoning Commission, to the remainder of the term vacated by Barbara
Snyder and also to a full 4 year term expiring in May 2016, or until a successor is duly appointed; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find it is in the best interest of the city to approve and ratify
such appointment as proposed by the Mayor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT Mike Lombardo, Ward III, 4534 NW Verona, Riverside Missouri; is hereby appointed by
the Mayor and ratified by the Board of Aldermen as a member of the Planning & Zoning Commission
to the remainder of a 4 year term ending in May 2012 together with an additional 4 year term expiring
May 2016, or until a successor is duly appointed; and
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of the
City of Riverside, Missouri, the 17th day of April, 2012.
