A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING CHERYL MELTON TO THE PLANNING & ZONING
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, fhe composition of the Riverside Planning & Zoning Commission is set forth in
Section 400.160 of the City Code and provides for the appointment of nine (9) Planning & Zoning
Commission citizen members by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Aldermen; and
WHEREAS, Cheryl Melton was originally appointed to the Planning & Zoning Commission in
2007 expiring in 2011 or until a successor was duly appointed; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor desires to reappoint Chery( Melton to the position on the Planning and
Zoning Commission, expiring in May 2015, or until a successor is duly appointed; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find it is in the best interest of the city to approve and ratify
such reappointment as proposed by the Mayor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the reappointment of Cheryl Meiton, Ward II, 5112 NW Gower Ct., Riverside Missouri; is
hereby recommended by the Mayor and ratified by the Board of Aldermen as a member of the
Planning & Zoning Commission to the remainder of a 4 year term ending in May 2015, or until a
successor is duly appointed; and
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of the
City of Riverside, Missouri, the 17th day of April, 2012.
