A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TIMOTHY MILLER TO THE PARK BOARD OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI
WHEREAS, the composition of the Riverside Park Board provides for the appointment of
seven (7) citizen members by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Aldermen; and
WHEREAS, the service of the members of the board is limited to no more than two
consecutive four-year terms by the Park Board By-Laws; and
WHEREAS, Timothy Miller is appointed to the Park Board on this date to fill the member at
large term, which expires May 2012; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended the appointment of Timothy Miller to his first full
term, expiring in May 2016, or until a successor is duly appointed; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find it is in the best interest of the city to approve and ratify
such appointment as proposed by the Mayor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the appointment of Timothy Miller, Ward III, 3711 NW South Drive, Riverside Missouri;
is hereby appointed by the Mayor and ratified by the Board of Aldermen as a member of the Park
Board to a four year term ending in May 2016, or until a successor is duly appointed; and
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of the
City of Riverside, Missouri, the 1st day of May, 2012.
