HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-02-28 SpecialMinutes of Special Meeting of Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Missouri February 28, 2006 A special closed meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri, was held in the City Hall, of Riverside, Missouri, on February 28, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. Those in attendance were Mayor Pro Tem Ray Beard and Aldermen Darata, Looker, Jones, Legasrd and Super. Mayor Burch was absent. Also present were David Blackburn, City Administrator, lane Henry, Administration Assistant, Chief Gregory Mills, Brent Miles, Director of Planning and Economic Development, John McClelland, City Attorney, Ben Prell, Bud Keckler, and Steve Kasper, Fahey Construction Company. Motion for Closed Session Mayor Pro Tem Beard moved that the meeting go into closed session, at 7:00 p.m. pursuam to RSMo 610.021(1) for discussion of legal issues, RSMo 610.021 (2) discussion of real estate issues, RSMo 610.021 (3) discussion of persommel issues, and RSMo 610.021(17) discussion of audit work product with the City Attorney; motion seconded by Alderman Looker, and the vote was: Yes: Aldermen Beard, Darata, Super, Looker, Legaard and Jones. Motion carried. Contract and legal matters were discussed with Steve Kasper, Fahey Construction representative. He was questioned about delays, availability of asphalt, and timeline for completion of the project. Insurance policy requiremems for Sreworks operators were discussed. Parameters for an outside audit were outlined. Motion for Open Session Mayor Pro Tem Beard moved that the meeting go irno open session, seconded by Alderman Super and the vote was: Yes: Aldermen Jones, Beard, Super, Darata, Looker, and Legaard. Motion carried. Adjournment By general consent, the meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m. A tration istan
