A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING LELAND FINLEY TO THE TAX INCREMENT
FINANCING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
WHEREAS, the City, pursuant to the Real Property Tax Increment Allocation
Redevelopment Act, Section 99.800 to 99.865, R.S.Mo., as amended ( "Act "), established
the Tax Increment Financing Commission of Riverside, Missouri ( "Commission'); and
WHEREAS, the Commission consists of eleven members, six representing the City,
two representing the county, two representing the school district and one representing the
other taxing districts; and
WHEREAS, Section 99.820(2)(3) of the Act requires that the Mayor appoint the
members representing the City and that the Board of Aldermen approve such appointments;
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor desires to reappoint Leland Finley to the position to the Tax
Increment Financing Commission, where his term expired on September 2010; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen finds it is in the best interest of the city to
approve and ratify such reappointment as proposed by the Mayor:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS;
THAT Leland Finley, Ward I, 913 NW Valley Lane, Riverside Missouri; is hereby
reappointed by the Mayor and ratified by the Board of Aldermen as a member of the Tax
Increment Financing Commission for the City of Riverside, Missouri to a four (4) year term
and expiring in September of 2014, or until a successor is duly appointed and ratified;
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor
of the City of Riverside, Missouri, the 16th day of April, 2013
