SPECIAL MEETING
BOARD OF ALDERMEN
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
Tuesday, April 9, 2013
5:30 p.m.
The Board of Aldermen for the City of Riverside, Missouri, met in special session in the Board
of Aldermen Chambers at City Hall, 2950 NW Vivion Road, Riverside, Missouri, on Tuesday,
April 9, 2013.
Mayor Rose called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Those in attendance were Mayor Kathy
Rose, Aldermen Seth DeRose, Ron Super, Mike Fuller, Brad Cope, Aaron Thatcher, and Art
Homer.
Also present were City Administrator Greg Mills, City Clerk Robin Littrell, Finance Director
Donna Resz, Community Development Director Mike Duffy, City Engineer Travis Hoover,
Public Works Director Tom Wooddell, City Planner Jackie Carlson, Community Development
Assistant Sarah Wagner, and Captain Mike Costanzo. Special Counsel Chad Lamer with
SFBB was also present.
MOTION TO REJECT BIDS City Administrator Greg Mills explained the need for rejection of
bids for Horizons Industrial II Paving and Landscaping.
Alderman Thatcher moved to approve the rejection of bids for
Horizon's Industrial II Paving and Landscaping received on
February 19, 2013, second by Alderman Super.
Yes: Thatcher, Super, Homer, Fuller, DeRose, and Cope.
Motion carried 6 -0.
BILL NO. 2013-019 City Clerk Robin Littrell gave first reading of Bill No.
Fourth Amendment MDA 2013 -019. Special Counsel Chad Lamer explained details of
Paving and Tree Placement the bill being presented. Alderman Thatcher moved to accept first
reading and place Bill No. 2013 -019 on second and final reading,
second by Alderman Cope.
Yes: Thatcher, Cope, Super, DeRose, Fuller, and Homer.
Motion carried 6 -0.
Alderman Cope moved to approve Bill 2013 -019 and enact said
bill as ordinance, second by Alderman Thatcher.
Yes: Cope, Thatcher, DeRose, Super, Homer, and Fuller.
Motion carried 6 -0.
BILL NO. 2013-020 City Clerk Robin Littrell gave first reading of Bill No.
CO 182 Pro Electric 2013 -020.
CO 7 Shaw Construction Alderman Thatcher moved to accept first reading and place Bill
No. 2013 -020 on second and final reading, second by Alderman
Cope.
Yes: Thatcher, Cope, Super, DeRose, Fuller, and Homer.
Motion carried 6 -0.
Alderman Cope moved to approve Bill 2013 -020 and enact said
bill as ordinance, second by Alderman Thatcher.
Yes: Cope, Thatcher, DeRose, Super, Homer, and Fuller.
Motion carried 6 -0.
MOTION TO ADJOURN
Alderman Cope moved to adjourn the meeting at 5:37 p.m.,
second by Alderman DeRose.
Yes: Cope, DeRose, Homer, Fuller, Thatcher, and Super.
