'~' OF BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
JUNE 10, 1986.
A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri in June
10, 1986, at 7:30 p.m. On a roll call, Aldermen Karr, BEst, Peeler,
Wedua and Brenner were present, Gordy absent; said meeting was call-
ed to order by Mayor Holmes.
The minutes of June 3, 1986, were read and approved as correct-

ed.
City Clerk Betty Burch reported that the Kansas City
Power & Light Company contacted her to inform her that the lights
on NW Gateway, where the State Highway Department is replacing the
bridge will have to be removed and replaced and the Light Company
wanted to know if it would be in order to replace the lights with
the Sodium Base Light, which they said eventually all the lights
will have to be of this type. The Mayor and Board thought it would
be okay to replace the lights with the Sodium Base.
The City Engineer requested that we have Mike Koska
secure a letter from the engineer of his building that the building
conforms with the City's Ordinances and The Uniform Building Code.
Concerning the area where Bill Hannah is filling so
that he can build a building, - The City Engineer has requested
that Bill Hannah have a competent engineer do soil testing on the
fill area and send in the results to our City Engineer.
The 1986-87 proposed budget .was,: discussed.. It was
brought out that there were only six City employees who were parti-
cipating in the Retirement Fund.
The Budget was discussed further.
There being no further business t'o come .: before the
board,,upon motin duly made, seconded and passed, meeting adjourned
at 10:03 p.m.
