A RESOLUTION APPOINTING DAVID THATCHER TO THE BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT
OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
WHEREAS, the composition of the Riverside Board of Zoning Adjustment provides for the
appointment of five (5) citizen members by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Aldermen; and
WHEREAS, the service of the members of the board is a five (5) year term with no term limits;
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended the appointment of David Thatcher to his first full
term, expiring in August 2018, or until a successor is duly appointed; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find it is in the best interest of the city to approve and ratify
such appointment as proposed by the Mayor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the appointment of David Thatcher, Ward I, 4417 NW Indian Lane., Riverside Missouri;
is hereby appointed by the Mayor and ratified by the Board of Aldermen as a member of the Board of
Zoning Adjustment Board to a first term for five years and expiring in August 2018, or until a
successor is duly appointed; and
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of the
City of Riverside, Missouri, the 6th day of August, 2013.
