1. Motion to enter into CLOSED SESSION for the following matters:
610.021(1) Legal actions, causes of action or litigation involving a public governmental body
and any confidential or privileged communications between a public governmental body or its
representatives and its attorneys
610.021 (2) Leasing, purchase or sale of real estate by a public governmental body where
public knowledge of the transaction might adversely affect the legal consideration therefore
610.021(3) Hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting a particular employee, when
personal information about the employee is discussed
610.021(12) Sealed bids and related documents, until the bids are opened; and
sealed proposals and related documents or any documents related to a negotiated
contract until a contract is executed, or all proposals are rejected

Public Comments - Members of the public may address exclusively the Mayor and members of the Board of Aldermen
during Public Comments ONLY. This Public Comments time is reserved for citizen comments regarding agenda and non -
agenda items. However, any item not listed on the agenda will be taken under advisement. Public comment on any agenda
item which has a Public Hearing should be reserved until the Public Hearing is opened and comments on such item will be
taken at that time. Each speaker is limited to 5 minutes.
LEGISLATIVE SESSION
1. CONSENT AGENDA
All matters listed under the Consent Agenda are considered to be routine by the Board of Aldermen and will be
enacted by one motion to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. There is no separate discussion of these
items. The Mayor or a member of the Board of Aldermen may request that any item be removed from the
Consent Agenda for discussion or explanation. If removed, it will be considered separately following approval of
the remaining items on the Consent Agenda. No motion is required to remove an item from the Consent Agenda.

R- 2013 -088: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS OUT OF
THE CITY TREASURY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2013 -2014
WEEK ENDING AUGUST 9 AND AUGUST 20 IN THE AMOUNT OF $267,648.20.

R- 2013 -089: A RESOLUTION APPOINTING SUZANNE JOHNSON TO THE PARK
BOARD OF RIVERSIDE MISSOURI. Point of Contact: Administration Director Meredith
Hauck.

2. Public Hearing: Public hearing to consider amending the Riverside Municipal Code
Chapter 400; Unified Development Ordinance in the City of Riverside, Missouri.
2a. First Reading: Bill No. 2013 -060: An ordinance adopting and enacting a new
Code of Ordinances of the City of Riverside; establishing the same; providing for
the repeal of certain ordinances not included therein, except as herein expressly
provided; providing for the manner of amending such Code of Ordinances;
providing penalty for the violation thereof; and providing when this ordinance
shall become effective. Point of Contact: City Administrator Greg Mills.
3. First Reading: Bill No. 2013 -061: AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A FINAL
DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR CORNER CAFE ON LAND LOCATED AT 4523 NW
GATEWAY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE. Point of Contact: Community Development Director Mike
Duffy.
4. First Reading: Bill No. 2013 -062: AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A FINAL
DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR CLASSIC PARTS OF AMERICA ON LAND LOCATED AT 1
CHEVY DUTY DRIVE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE. Point of Contact: Community Development
Director Mike Duffy.
5. First Reading: Bill No. 2013 -063: AN ORDINANCE WAIVING THE BUILDING PERMIT
FEE FOR AN APPROXIMATE 33,000 SQUARE FOOT EXPANSION AT CLASSIC PARTS
OF AMERICA LOCATED AT 1 CHEVY DUTY DRIVE, RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI. Point of
Contact: City Planner Jackie Carlson.
6. First Reading: Bill No. 2013 -064: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT
OF NORMAN BUESCHER AS A FULL -TIME ASSISTANT PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR
IN THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT AND ESTABLISHING A SALARY AND START
DATE FOR SUCH EMPLOYEE. Point of Contact: Administration Director Meredith Hauck.
