RE: IT Services Contract
BACKGROUND: In September, the City released an RFP for IT Services in the KC Star and on our
website. We received three inquiries for the bid packet. On September 24
there was the one bid response received and it was from eNet.
The RFP required that the respondents have a proven experience providing
service to municipal government or other 24/7 operations and proven
experience working with a variety of software and hardware, as well as
authorization to work in areas with law enforcement information systems.
RECOMMENDATION: eNet's proposal is recommended by staff to enter into a one year service
agreement with the option that it may be renewed at the same hourly rate for up to
two additional one year terms upon written notice by the City at least 30 days prior to
expiration of the then current term.
- The Hourly rate is set at $85 per hour with no up charges for services provided after
business hours or on the holidays. This is the same rate eNet currently requires.
- eNet has a proven track record with the City and meets all requirements of the RFP.
