AGENDA DATE: October 11, 2013
BACKGROUND: This request is for authorization to remove three police patrol
vehicles from the current fleet. These vehicles have out lived their service life with the
city and are being replaced with new vehicles per the approved budget for the 2013-
2014 fiscal year. I have received two letters from cities requesting our old vehicles be
donated to them, which has been the practice in past years. I received a request from
both the City of Northmoor for one vehicle and City of Weatherby Lake for two vehicles.
Northmoor will receive a 2010 Ford Crown Victoria and Weatherby Lake will receive a
2003 and a 2011 Ford Crown Victoria.
BUDGETARY IMPACT: There is no impact on the current budget.
