A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY A PETITION FOR VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION TO THE CITY
OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the Board of Aldermen hereby authorizes the City Administrator to execute
on behalf of the City a Petition for Voluntary Annexation to the City of Riverside,
Missouri, with respect to the following real property:
All that part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 32, Township 51, Range 33, Platte
County, Missouri, and all that part of Lots 1 thru 12, RIDGEWOOD ESTATES, a
subdivision of land in Platte County, Missouri, being hereby described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 32, thence
North 89 degrees 00 minutes 07 seconds West, a distance of 36.00 feet; thence North
00 degrees 50 minutes 28 seconds East, a distance of 59.26 feet; thence North 44
degrees 54 minutes 58 seconds West, a distance of 96.28 feet; thence North 89
degrees 38 minutes 54 seconds West, a distance of 67.46 feet; thence North 00
degrees 21 minutes 06 seconds East, a distance of 74.00 feet; thence South 89
degrees 38 minutes 54 seconds East, a distance of 66.75 feet; thence North 45 degrees
26 minutes 35 seconds East, a distance of 100.13 feet; thence North 00 degrees 50
minutes 28 seconds East, a distance of 1033.67 feet to the South line of said
RIDGEWOOD ESTATES; thence North 89 degrees 12 minutes 49 seconds West, along
the South line of said RIDGEWOOD ESTATES, a distance of 4.00 feet; thence North 00
degrees 50 minutes 28 seconds East, a distance of 403.91 feet; thence North 77
degrees 35 minutes 35 seconds West, a distance of 10.21 feet; thence North 00
degrees 50 minutes 28 seconds East, a distance of 261.35 feet; thence South 89
degrees 50 minutes 28 seconds West, a distance of 2.0 feet; thence North 00 degrees
50 minutes 28 seconds East, a distance of 460.19 feet to the Kansas City- Riverside City
limit line; thence South 89 degrees 24 minutes 12 seconds East, along the said City
limit line, a distance of 40.00 feet to the East line of the Southwest Quarter of said
Section 32; thence South 00 degrees 50 minutes 28 seconds West along the East line
of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 32, a distance of 2434.25 feet, to the Point of
Beginning; and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator, the City Attorney and other
appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be
deemed necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this
Resolution and to execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates,
instruments, agreements and other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to
perform all matters herein authorized.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the

PETITION FOR VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY
TO THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
The undersigned, acting on behalf of the petitioner City of Riverside, Missouri, submits
this petition for annexation of real property to the Board of Aldermen of the City of
Riverside in accordance with Section 71.012 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, as
amended, and states and alleges as follows:
1. That the undersigned has been authorized by the Board of Aldermen of the City of
Riverside, Missouri ( "City ") to execute this Petition.
2. That the City is the owner of all fee interests of record in all tracts of real estate in
the area proposed for annexation in Platte County, Missouri, located generally along the
west side of the centerline of Northwood Road, more specifically described as follows:
ATTACHED AS EXHIBIT A
3. That the said real estate is not now a part of any incorporated municipality.
4. That the said real estate is contiguous and compact to the existing corporate limits
of the City of Riverside, Missouri.
5. That the City requests that the said real estate be annexed and included within the
corporate limits of the City of Riverside, Missouri, as authorized by the provisions of
Section 71.012 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, as amended.
6. That the City requests the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri,
to cause the required notice be published and to conduct the public hearing required by
law and to thereafter adopt an ordinance extending the limits of the City of Riverside to
include the above described real estate.

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri at 7:00 p.m. on April 15, 2014 at City Hall, 2950 NW Vivion Road, Riverside, Missouri, concerning
the matter of a proposed annexation of real property owned by the City of Riverside, and generally located west
of the centerline of Northwood Road, to wit, as described:

At this public hearing any interested parties, corporations or political subdivision may present evidence
regarding the proposed annexation. Furthermore, any objections to the proposed annexation should be filed, in
writing, with the Board of Alderman of the City of Riverside through the City Clerk at City Hall no later than
fourteen (14) days after the date of said public hearing.
