PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri, the 4 day of March, 2014. Il A ATTEST: ., Mayor Kathleen L. Rose Robin Littrell, C' Clerk i Riverside Department of Public Safety .t,ee AGENDA DATE: March 4, 2014 BACKGROUND: From time to time, an evaluation of our department issued equipment is done for longevity and current usage. As part of our evaluation several years ago, we removed our PR24 batons from service and began using a new straight baton. When this was done, it left us with a surplus of batons. We posted the equipment on the Missouri Police Chiefs website to see if any police department might be in need of equipment, they otherwise could not afford. Two departments, Holt and Bloomfield Missouri police departments have contacted us. We are requesting permission to donate 18 surplus PR24 batons, 13 to Holt PD and 5 to Bloomfield PD. There is no budgetary impact to the city for this request. Major Skinrood
