SPECIAL MEETING
BOARD OF ALDERMEN
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI
Tuesday, May 27, 2014
6:00 P.M.
The Board of Aldermen for the City of Riverside, Missouri, met in special session in the Board
of Aldermen Chambers at City Hall, 2950 NW Vivion Road, Riverside, Missouri, on Tuesday,
May 27, 2014.
Mayor Kathy Rose called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Those in attendance were Mayor
Kathy Rose, Alderman Brad Cope, Art Homer, Ron Super, Chet Pruett, and Mike Fuller.
Alderman Aaron Thatcher was absent.
Also present were City Administrator Greg Mills, City Clerk Robin Littrell, Public Works
Director Tom Wooddell, City Engineer Travis Hoover, and Finance Director Donna Resz.
Special Counsel Joe Bednar with SFBB was also present.
LEGISLATIVE SESSION
City Administrator Greg Mills explained that items 1-4 have
been pulled from the agenda this evening. Discussion was held to
determine a special meeting before the end of the week.
Liquor License Approval Alderman Cope moved to approve the temporary picnic liquor
Scottish Highland Games license contingent upon State of Missouri approval for the Scottish
Highland Games on June 13-15, 2014, second by Alderman
Super.
Yes: Cope, Super, Pruett, Fuller, and Homer.
Motion carried 5-0.
MOTION TO ENTER INTO Alderman Cope moved that the meeting go into closed
CLOSED @ 6:07 P.M. session pursuant to RSMo 610.021 (1) Legal Action and
litigation and RSMo 610.021(2) Leasing, purchase or sale of
real estate by a governmental body where public knowledge of
the transaction might adversely affect the legal consideration,
second by Alderman Super.
Yes: Cope, Super, Fuller, Homer, and Pruett.
Motion carried 5-0.
MOTION TO ADJOURN Alderman Cope moved at 7:33 p.m. to adjourn closed session
CLOSED @ 7:33 P.M. with action taken, second by Alderman Fuller.
Yes: Cope, Fuller, Homer, Pruett, and Super.
Motion carried 5-0.

MOTION TO ADJOURN Alderman Fuller moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:34 p.m.,
second by Alderman Super.
Yes: Fuller, Super, Pruett, Homer, and Cope.
Motions carried 5-0.
