R-2014-048 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF AG-POWER OF RICHMOND MISSOURI AND AUTHORIZING A ONE YEAR MUNICIPAL OPERATING LEASE OF A 2014 JOHN DEERE TRACTOR IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $6,296.50 WHEREAS, the City has a need to acquire a John Deere Tractor Model 6125R for its Public Works Department operations and use of such equipment is essential to the City's proper, efficient and economic operation; and WHEREAS, a 2014 John Deere Tractor Model 6125R is available for lease from Ag-Power in Richmond, Missouri, utilizing the Governmental Operating Lease Program; and WHEREAS, the City desires to lease said 2014 John Deere Tractor Model 6125R under a 12 month lease agreement; and WHEREAS, funds for such purpose are available in the Fiscal Year 2014-2015 Budget in the amount of$6,296.50; and WHEREAS,the Board of Aldermen find it is in the best interest of the City to authorize the acquisition and lease of such equipment as set forth herein; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: THAT acquisition of a 2014 John Deere Tractor Model 6125R according to the lease agreement terms is hereby authorized, approved, and ratified in an amount not to exceed $6,296.50; FURTHER THAT execution and delivery of a Master Lease-Purchase Agreement, Lease Schedule, and Bill of Sale incorporating the agreement terms shall be executed by the Mayor and she is hereby authorized, approved and ratified with such changes, modifications, additions or deletions therein as shall be deemed necessary, desirable or appropriate by the Mayor prior to execution thereof; FURTHER THAT the Mayor and Finance Director are hereby authorized to execute all other documents and agreements necessary or incidental to carry out the terms and conditions of such agreements and the City Clerk is authorized to attest thereto.
