HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-02-22 Special.+. - Minutes of Special Meeting of Boazd of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Missouri February 22, 2005 A special meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri, was held in the City Hall, of Riverside, Missouri, February 24, 2003 at 5:00 p.m Those in attendance were Mayor Betty Burch, Aldermen Bums, Looker, Dazata, Legaazd, Super and Beazd. Also present were, David Blackburn, City Administrator, John McClelland and Ben Prell, City Attorney's office. Attorney Ben Prell said he had reviewed the contract for the Genuine Chevy GMC Truck Club of KC and pursuant to the contract, the city should attend all the correlation meetings that are mentioned in the contract with the trucking company. Alderman Beazd said the city needs more information on where the "burn out pit" is going to be placed. Ordinance No. 2005-14 Alderman Looker moved to place Bill No. 2005-14 on its second reading Approved and upon passage of same, become Ordinance No. 2005-14 seconded by Alderman Dazata, the vote was: Aye: Aldermen Beard, Dazata, Looker, Legaard, Burris and Super. Motion carries. Bill No. 2005-15 Alderman Bums moved to place Bill No. 2005-15 on its fast reading, said Bill Approv. amend- approving amendments to the Personnel Policies of the City of Riverside, ments to the Per- Missouri, seconded by Alderman Beazd, the vote was: sonnel Policies of the city Aye: Aldermen Super, Beard, Dazata, Looker, Legaard and Bums. Motion carries. Ordinance No. 200515 Alderman Beard moved to place Bill No. 2005-15 on its second reading Approved and upon passage of same, become Ordinance No. 2005-15 seconded by Alderman Burris, the vote was: Aye: Aldermen Dazata, Beazd, Super, Bums, Legaazd and Looker. Motion carries. r City Administrator David said the city is donating a lot of the city's property in the Horizon's area with the street projects, drainage ditches and the holding pond. David said, "We aze giving away too much property and should do something about it." Alderman Beard said the city should have a marketing study to see what the city's retail sales total.
