t..r A regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri, was held in the City Hall in Riverside, Missouri on June 26, 1984,
at 7:30 p.m. On a roll call, Aldermen Karr, Gordy, BEst, Peeler and Brenner
were present, Wedua absent; and in the absence of Mayor Holmes, Mayor Pro Tem
Peeler called said meeting to order.
The minutes of June 19, 1984, were read and approved as corrected.
Wedua present this portion of meeting (8:00).
Laura H. Cashmare, 1205 N.E. 73rd Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64118
presented application for business license for K.C. Gymnastic School at 4256
N.W. Riverside Street. This was approved subject to the payment of the fee.
Darrell Elkins, 8012 N Milrey, K. C., MO 64152 presented business Licens
application for American Pool Service, Inc. at 2020 N.W. Business Park Lane,
for retail and wholesale of swimming pools. This was approved subject to the
' payment of the fee.
Ed Famuliner, 1209 Baker Drive, Independence, MO 64050, presented applica-
tion for the sale of Fire Works at 2401 W. Vivion Road - a tent 60' x 30'. This
was approved subject to providing a drawing of the parking area, a sales tax
number and the payment of the fee plus the deposit.
Best moved that the City accept the 1984-85 budget as presented, seconded
by Karr, the roll was called and votes were as follows: Karr, Gordy, Best, Wedua
1`-~ and Brenner voted aye; Peeler being Mayor Pro Tem.
City Clerk Betty Burch inquired of the Board to have the drainage at
the east end of the parking lot at the Park cleaned and any corrections made
if necessary. This matter will be looked into. Also the Park Commission would
like permission to spend up to $200.00 to till and seed the park. This authority
was granted.
It was brought out that Cerreto Lane, Merrimac and High Drive needs
patching and repairing.
Gordy reported he had received calls regarding dogs at large.
There being no further business, upon motion made, seconded and passed,
meeting adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
