A RESOLUTION APPOINTING NATHAN CRETSINGER TO THE PLANNING &ZONING
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the composition of the Riverside Planning & Zoning Commission is set forth in the
City Code and provides for the appointment of nine (9) Planning &Zoning Commission citizen
members by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Aldermen; and
WHEREAS, Al Bowman was reappointed to the Planning &Zoning Commission in 2014 and
his term was expiring in May 2018, or until a successor was duly appointed; and
WHEREAS, Al Bowman has resigned from the Planning &Zoning Commission because of his
election to the Board of Aldermen and there is a need to fill the vacancy created by such resignation;
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor desires to appoint Nathan Cretsinger to the position vacated by Al
Bowman on the Planning and Zoning Commission, to the remainder of the term vacated by Al
Bowman expiring in May 2018, or until a successor is duly appointed; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find it is in the best interest of the city to approve and ratify
such appointment as proposed by the Mayor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT Nathan Cretsinger, Ward I, 4435 Sienna Ridge, Riverside Missouri; is hereby appointed
by the Mayor and ratified by the Board of Aldermen as a member of the Planning & Zoning
Commission to the remainder of a 4 year term ending in May 2018, or until a successor is duly
appointed; and
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of the
City of Riverside, Missouri, the 16th day of June, 2015.
