A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING, APPROVING AND RATIFYING CHANGE ORDER 6 TO
THE AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN TENOCH CONSTRUCTION INC FOR THE 2013-14
STREET MAINTENANCE PROJECT(313-013) RESULTING IN A REVISED CONTRACT
AMOUNT OF $548,299.70 FOR SUCH PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City issued an Invitation to Bid for the 2013-14 Street Maintenance
Project which was awarded to Tenoch Construction Inc. pursuant to Resolution R-2014-033,
and Change Order 1 to said contract was approved by Resolution R-2014-068; Change Order 2
to said contract was approved by Resolution R-2013-083; Change Order 3 to said contract was
approved by Resolution R-2014-103; Change Order 4 to said contract was approved by
Resolution R-2015-028; and Change Order 5 to said contract was approved by Resolution R-
2015-072; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find it in the best interest of the City to formally
authorize, approve and ratify Change Order 6 to the agreement with Tenoch Construction Inc.,
resulting in a total revised contract amount not to exceed $548,299.70;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT Change Order 6 to the Agreement entered into by and between the City and
Tenoch Construction Inc. and incorporated herein by reference resulting in a revised contract
amount not to exceed $548,299.70 is hereby authorized, ratified and approved.
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, City Administrator and all other required city officials are
authorized to execute the change order authorized herein together with any and all documents
necessary or incidental to the performance thereof and to take such other actions and/or
execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements and
other documents as may be deemed necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the
intent of this Resolution.
BE IT REMEMBERED that the above was PASSED AND APPROVED by a majority of
the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of the City of Riverside, Missouri, this
15th day of March, 2016.

2013-14 Street Maintenance Project (3 13-013)
BACKGROUND: The 13-14 Street Maintenance Project was approved on 5-20-14 and consists of:
• Curb and Gutter replacement throughout the City
• Sidewalk Connection along 50' Terr into Gatewoods
• Mill and overlay of St.Joe Blvd
• Trail connection from Argosy Casino Parkway to EH Young Park
• Trail connection from Klamm to Interurban
Change order#1 was approved on 7-1-14 for a total of$12,865.00
Change order#2 was approved on 8-19-14 for a total of$25,838.25
Change order#3 was approved on 12-2-14 for a total of$118,590.76
Change order#4 was approved on 6-2-15 for a total of$40,608.04
Change order#5 was approved on 10-06-15 for a total of$57,622.65
Change order#6 includes:
• $1,850.00 for an overrun of street improvements to Hermosa Dr.
BUDGETARY IMPACT: Approximately $1,850.00 will be expended out of the 2015-16 Street
Maintenance budget.
Original Contract Amount $ 290,925.00
Total of Previous Changes $ 255,524.70
Total this Change Order $ 1,850.00
Current Contract Total $ 548,299.70
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution and acceptance of the change order
with Tenoch Construction to continue with work for the 2013-2014 Street
Maintenance Project.
