HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-06-13 SpecialMinutes of Special Meeting of the Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Missouri June 13, 2005 A special meeting of the Boazd of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri, was held in the City Hall, of Riverside, Missouri, on June 13, 2005 at 6:30 p.m Those in attendance were Mayor Betty Burch, Aldermen Looker, Darata, Legaazd, Super, and Beard. Alderman Jones, absent. Also present were, David Blackburn, City Administrator, Chief Greg Mills, and John McClelland, City Attorney's office. Motion for Closed Alderman Looker moved that the meeting go into closed session, pursuant to Session at 6:43 p.m and 610.021(2) Real Estate issues, seconded by Alderman Beard, and the vote was: Aye: Alderman Beard, Darata, Super, Looker and Legaazd. Absent: Alderman Jones. Motion Carries. Motion for Open Alderman Super moved that the meeting go into open session at 8:20 p.m, Session at 8:20 p.m seconded by Alderman Legaazd, and the vote was: Aye: Alderman Super, Beard, Looker, Legaazd and Dazata. Absent: Alderman Jones. Motion Carries. Budget Session Budget work was done at this time. Aldermen comments Alderman Super said he went to the Highlander Games in Kansas City, Kansas and mentioned the pazking lot by Argosy when the Games arrive at the E.H. Young Pazk next yeaz. Alderman Beard talked about High Drive. Alderman Looker mentioned the Chevy' Truck show and the proceeds going to "Toys for Tots" and suggested the city to pay for two officers and "Chevy' Truck Show will pay the others.
