Subject: US-69 Bridge Replacement - Concept Submittal Response
Gentlemen,
I have attached the DRAFT response to MoDOT’s concept submittal for the
US-69 Bridge Replacement project for the Board’s review. The attached
draft provides input obtained during a meeting with Charlie Detrick,
Mike McGinness, Ben, Kevin, and John this past Friday.
FYI. Items highlighted correspond to Levee District policy issues. The
preferred location for placement of bridge piers is out of the levee
section and 15’ from the levee toe. Also, the crossing of the levee
section is completely up and over.
The USACE response letter is currently circulating at USACE for
signature/comment. They are working to meet the February 4th response
deadline requested by MoDOT.
