Board Members,
I am sending you the new set of Affinis invoices which will
be presented at the Board meeting on April 9, 2014. As you review the
invoices, please consider the following comments:
Invoice No. 4964 – relates to services provided on Argosy projects and
will be billed to Argosy for payment.
Invoice No. 4966 – relates to services on the MAWC NW Gateway project
and will be billed to MAWC for payment. This invoice also reflects
services on the MoDOT Bridge Project and will be sent to MoDOT for
payment.
Invoice No. 4987 – relates to Levee District miscellaneous services and
will be paid from budgeted funds for engineering services.
Please let me know if you plan to attend the April 9th Board
meeting. I believe Argosy will be making a presentation on the
construction of a new warehouse building. The project requires Board
approval because the building will be located within the Flood
Protection Levee Easement and will be adjacent to the Levee
Right-of-Way.
Two new projects are getting underway. McCray Lumber
Company is putting in 3 new monitoring wells on its property. The
monitoring wells will be installed within the LCA and will require a
Construction Agreement. The second project involves AT&T putting a new
fiberoptic cable which will cross above the Levee. It has not yet been
determined if the project will involve using the Levee during the
construction of the new line.
