knowledge of the transaction might adversely affect the legal consideration therefore
610.021(3) Hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting a particular employee, when
personal information about the employee is discussed

during Public Comments ONLY. This Public Comments time is reserved for citizen comments regarding agenda and non-
agenda items. However,any item not listed on the agenda will be taken under advisement. Public comment on any agenda
item which has a Public Hearing should be reserved until the Public Hearing is opened and comments on such item will be
taken at that time. Each speaker is limited to 5 minutes.

LEGISLATIVE SESSION
1. CONSENT AGENDA
All matters listed under the Consent Agenda are considered to be routine by the Board of Aldermen and will be
enacted by one motion to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. There is no separate discussion of these
items. The Mayor or a member of the Board of Aldermen may request that any Nem be removed from the
Consent Agenda for discussion or explanation. If removed,it will be considered separately following approval of
the remaining items on the Consent Agenda. No motion is required to remove an item from the Consent Agenda.

Approval of Court Report for June 2016.
R-2016-050: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS OUT OF
THE CITY TREASURY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2016-2017
WEEK ENDING JULY 8TH AND JULY 15TH IN THE AMOUNT OF $289,639.02. Point of
Contact: Finance Director Donna Oliver.
R-2016-051: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE SELEX-
ES/ELSAG AUTOMATED LICENSE PLATE READER FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF
PUBLIC SAFETY FROM BUSCH AND ASSOCIATES OFF THE GSA PURCHASING
CONTRACT IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $24,880. Point of Contact: Major Chris
Skinrood.

1. Public Hearing: Public hearing to consider a request for a special use permit for outdoor
storage, located at 4600 NW 41st Street, in the City of Riverside, Missouri.
a) Motion to continue to August 2, 2016.
2. First Reading: Bill No. 2016-030: AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF
RIVERSIDE HORIZONS INDUSTRIAL VI EAST, A REPLAT OF ALL OF LOT 2,
RIVERSIDE HORIZONS INDUSTRIAL III EAST, TOGETHER WITH PART OF LOT 8 AND
ALL OF LOTS 9 AND 10, RIVERSIDE HORIZONS EAST FIRST PLAT, ALL IN THE CITY
OF RIVERSIDE, PLATTE COUNTY, MISSOURI. Point of Contact: Community
Development Director Mike Duffy.
3. First Reading: Bill No. 2016-031: AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A FINAL DEVELOPMENT
PLAN FOR HORIZONS INDUSTRIAL VI, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE UNIFIED
DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE. Point of Contact:
Community Development Director Mike Duffy.
4. First Reading: Bill No. 2016-032: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DELIVERY OF
AN OMNIBUS ASSIGNMENT, ASSUMPTION, AND AMENDMENT OF BOND
DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THE CITY'S RECOVERY ZONE FACILITY REVENUE
BONDS (HOOVER UNIVERSAL, INC.), SERIES 2010, TO MAKE CERTAIN
MODIFICATIONS TO THE BOND DOCUMENTS RELATED TO SAID BONDS. Point of
Contact: Community Development Director Mike Duffy and Gary Anderson, Gilmore & Bell.
5. Motion to approve Picnic Not-for-Profit Liquor License Contingent upon State of Missouri
Approval — Riverside Chamber of Commerce, Managing Agent Kathryn Smith for the Music Fest
