Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Missouri
September 15, 2005
A special meeting of the Boazd of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri, was held in the
City Hall, of Riverside, Missouri, on September 15,2005 at 7:00 p.m.
Those in attendance were Mayor Burch, Aldermen Darata, Looker, Legaard, Super and Beazd.
Alderman Jones, absent.
Also present were David Blackburn, City Administrator, Chief Gregory Mills, Brent Miles,
Planning and Zoning Coordinator, and John McClelland City Attorney's office.
U.S.D.A. Alderman Looker moved to approve the United States Department of Agriculture
Approved to (USDA) to use the E.H. Young Riverfront Pazk for a picnic, free of charge Friday,
use the E.H. September 23~, for a fundraiser, golf tournament, to raise money for United Way picnic,
Young Park seconded by Alderman Beazd, the vote was:
Aye: Aldermen Looker, Darata, Legaazd, Beazd and Super.
Absent: Alderman Jones.
Motion carries.
Closed Session Alderman Legaazd moved to go into closed Session pursuant to RSMO 610.021(1)
at 7:20 p.m. Legal Issues with the city attorney, seconded by Alderman booker, the vote was:
Aye: Aldermen Beard, Dazata, Super, Looker and Legaazd.
Absent: Alderman Jones.
Motion carries.
Open Session Alderman Legaazd moved to go into open Session at 10:35 p.m., seconded
at 8:13 p:m. by Alderman Looker, the vote was:
Aye: Aldermen Dazata, ,Beard, Looker, Legaazd and Super.
Absent: Alderman Jones.
Motion carries.
Mayor Burch said the city would make a contribution to Ocean Springs, Mississippi
for the hurricane victims and this would be done with a Mutual Aid Agreement.
The board asked to see Audit Reports from Kathy Rose, Court Clerk regarding
the Fall Festival.
Adjournment By unanimous decision, the meeting adjourned at 9:0'7 p.m.
