during Public Comments ONLY. This Public Comments time is reserved for citizen comments regarding agenda and non"
agenda items. However,any item not listed on the agenda will be taken under advisement. Public comment on any agenda
item which has a Public Hearing should be reserved until the Public Hearing is opened and comments on such item will be
taken at that time. Each speaker is limited to 5 minutes.

LEGISLATIVE SESSION
1. CONSENT AGENDA
All matters listed under the Consent Agenda are considered to be routine by the Board of Aldermen and will be
enacted by one motion to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. There is no separate discussion of these
items. The Mayor or a member of the Board of Aldermen may request that any item be removed from the
Consent Agenda for discussion or explanation. If removed,it will be considered separately following approval of
the remaining items on the Consent Agenda. No motion is required to remove an item from the Consent Agenda.

R-2017-022: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS OUT OF
THE CITY TREASURY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2016-2017
WEEK ENDING APRIL 21ST AND APRIL 28TH IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,047,321.28. Point
of Contact: Finance Director Donna Oliver.
R-2017-023: A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2016-2017 BUDGET FOR
THE DEBT SERVICE FUND, AND THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND OF THE CITY
OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI. Point of Contact: Finance Director Donna Oliver.
R-2017-024: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF AN ADVANCED
CARDIAC MONITOR AND AN AUTOMATIC EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR. Point of
Contact: Fire Chief Gordon Fowlston.
R-2017-025: A RESOLUTION APPOINTING FRANK BIONDO TO THE INDUSTRIAL
DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI. Point of
Contact: Mayor Kathy Rose.
R-2017-026: A RESOLUTION APPOINTING BRENT MILES TO THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE HORIZONS BUSINESS PARK ASSOCIATION AND
REAPPOINTING STACI BUNDY TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE HORIZONS
BUSINESS PARK ASSOCIATION. Point of Contact: City Administrator Greg Mills.
REGULAR AGENDA
1. Public Hearing: Public hearing to consider approval of the request for Special Use Permit
located at 2703 NW Platte Road (Royal Funeral), in the City of Riverside, Missouri.
a) Motion to continue both SUP request to May 16, 2017 regular meeting.
2. First Reading: Bill No. 2017-034: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT
OF DAVID TAYLOR AS A FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE WORKER I IN THE
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND ESTABLISHING A SALARY AND START
DATE FOR SUCH EMPLOYEE. Point of Contact: Public Works Director Tom Wooddell.
3. First Reading: Bill No. 2017-035: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE CHAPTER
120 RELATED TO BACKGROUND CHECKS FOR EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND
CERTAIN CONTRACTORS. Point of Contact: Police Chief Chris Skinrood.
