A RESOLUTION APPOINTING JILL HAMMOND TO THE PARK BOARD OF RIVERSIDE
MISSOURI
WHEREAS, the composition of the Riverside Park Board provides for the appointment of
seven (7) citizen members by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Aldermen; and
WHEREAS, the service of the members of the board is limited to no more than two
consecutive four-year terms by the Park Board By-Laws; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended the appointment of Jill Hammond to her first full
term, expiring in May 2021, or until a successor is duly appointed; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find it is in the best interest of the city to approve and ratify
such appointment as proposed by the Mayor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the appointment of Jill Hammond, Ward II, 5028 NW Flintridge Dr, Riverside, Missouri;
is hereby appointed by the Mayor and ratified by the Board of Aldermen as a member of the Park
Board to a first term for four years and expiring in May 2021, or until a successor is duly appointed;
and
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of the
City of Riverside, Missouri, the Z day of November 2017.
