A RESOLUTION SELECTING WITT APPRAISAL COMPANY, INC. IN RESPONSE
TO THE CITY'S REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS FOR REAL ESTATE APPRAISAL
SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City issued a Request for Quotations for real estate appraisals in
connection with a flood buyout project ("Project"); and
WHEREAS, the City received three (3) responses to its Request, and determined that
the response submitted by Witt Appraisal Company, Inc. was the only fully responsive
submittal; and
WHEREAS, the price submitted by Witt Appraisal Company, Inc. has been evaluated
and deemed reasonable; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen finds that Witt Appraisal Company, Inc. is the
lowest responsible bidder and that it is in the best interest of the City to accept its response.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the response of Witt Appraisal Services, Inc., attached hereto and
incorporated herein by this reference, for real estate appraisals in connection with a
flood buyout project, is hereby accepted and approved; and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator, Community Development
Director and other appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all
actions as may be deemed necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the
intent of this Resolution and to execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all
certificates, instruments, agreements and other documents, as may be necessary or
convenient to perform all matters herein authorized.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen the 19th day of December,
2017.
