A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING JIM FRAKES TO THE PLANNING &ZONING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the composition of the Riverside Planning & Zoning Commission is set forth in the
City Code and provides for the appointment of nine (9) Planning &Zoning Commission citizen
members by the Mayor with the approval of the Board of Aldermen; and
WHEREAS, Jim Frakes was originally appointed to the Planning &Zoning Commission in April
2012 to serve the remainder of a vacated term expiring in May 2013, and reappointed in for a full (4)
four-year term or until a successor was duly appointed; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor desires to reappoint Jim Frakes to the position on the Planning and
Zoning Commission, expiring in May 2021, or until a successor is duly appointed; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen find it is in the best interest of the city to approve and ratify
such reappointment as proposed by the Mayor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the reappointment of Jim Frakes, Ward I, 1900 NW Woodland, Riverside Missouri; is
hereby recommended by the Mayor and ratified by the Board of Aldermen as a member of the
Planning & Zoning Commission to a 4-year term ending in May 2021, or until a successor is duly
appointed; and
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen and APPROVED by the Mayor of the
City of Riverside, Missouri, the 2nd day of January, 2018.
