A RESOLUTION APPROVING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WITH AYLETT
SURVEY & ENGINEERING COMPANY FOR SURVEY OF E.H. YOUNG
RIVERFRONT PARK IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $10,000
WHEREAS, City Code Section 135.180 provides that the City's competitive bidding
requirements do not apply to professional services, such as land surveyors; and
WHEREAS, City Code Section 135.180 further provides that a procurement
recommendation will be made to the Board of Aldermen when fees for such service exceed
$10,000; and
WHEREAS, in response to City Staffs request for proposals for surveying work in
connection with improvements to E.H. Young Riverfront Park, Staff recommends that the City
engage Aylett Survey&Engineering Company, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $10,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the Riverside Board of Aldermen ("Board") hereby approves the proposal letter
with Aylett Survey & Engineering Company, Inc., in substantially the form attached hereto as
Exhibit"A", and the Mayor is authorized to execute the proposal letter; and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, Finance Director and other City officials are hereby
authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed necessary or convenient to carry out and
comply with the purpose and intent of this Resolution and to execute and deliver for and on
behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements and other documents, as may be
necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein authorized; and
FURTHER THAT this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri, the day of aT 2018.

Boundary Survey $ 1,200.00
Locate and Establish Elevations on Improvements with Locations of
Trees 6"or Larger not in timbered areas along with the Edge of Timbered Areas.
Provide Auto Cadd version 2013, 1'contours on Drawing,location of Argosy's
East Levee, and determine if Zeke
Road is on City Property. $7,000,00
Miscellanious Office and Field Time` $ 1,800.00
*Reviewing Title work,Right of way Deeds,Dig Rite,Locate Pipeline and Depths,Etc.
If ordered we will need to be furnished with updated Title Work or a copy of the Deeds on the property.These costs are maxiutum,
not to exceed costs and could be less.Payment will be required upon completion and can be made with cash or check.
Fees quoted herein shall remain in effect for 30 days from the dale of this proposal. If this offer is accepted after thirty days,we
reserve the right to revise our fees and resubmit this proposal.
If you wish to cancel this order atter it has been placed:Once this order has been placed,you are responsible for payment of a0
work performed between the date of the order and the date that we are in written receipt of your request of cancellation by U.S.
Certified Mail. If you fail to make payment,a mechanic's lien can be placed on the property which is the subject of this contract
pursuant to Chapter 429 RSMO. At our option,we may charge a 2%service charge per month on any balance that is past due.A
charge of 24%will be added to unpaid balances on accounts fumed over to others for collection.
If this meets your approval please sign a copy of this proposal letter and return to Aylett Survey&Engineering Company,Inc.
I, the undersigned, have read, understand and have authorized the work to be performed by Aylett Survey & Engineering
Company,Inc. and agree to be responsible for the payment of this survey.
