A RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER 1 TO THE AGREEMENT WITH
LARRISON CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR THE FITNESS COURT PROJECT (218-018)
RESULTING IN A REVISED CONTRACT AMOUNT OF $55,590.75 FOR SUCH
PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City of Riverside ("City") issued an Invitation to Bid for the Fitness
Court Project which was awarded to Lamson Construction, Inc. pursuant to Resolution R-2018-
057; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen finds that it is in the best interest of the City to
approve Change Order 1 to the agreement with Larrison Construction, Inc., resulting in a total
revised contract amount not to exceed $55,590.75 to include Alternate B, the shade structure, in
the contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI,AS FOLLOWS:
THAT Change Order 1 to the Agreement between the City and Larrison Construction,
Inc., a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is approved and the Mayor is
authorized to execute the same on behalf of the City. The resulting revised total contract amount
shall not exceed$55,590.75.
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, City Administrator and all other required city officials
are authorized to take such other actions and/or execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City
all certificates, instruments, agreements and other documents as may be deemed necessary or
convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri,the 17th day of July 2018.

Fitness Court Project (218-018)
BACKGROUND: The Fitness Court Project was approved on 7-3-17. In addition, during the
Engineering Department discussion, the Board confirmed their preference to add
the shade structure to the project. This Change Order authorizes Larrison
Construction, Inc. to include Alternate B, the shade structure, in the project
This Change Order also reflects an $800 material credit for a gravel donation
from Martin Marietta.
BUDGETARY IMPACT: Approximately $55,590.75 will be expended out of the Fitness Court Project
budget.

RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution and acceptance of the change order
