Public Comments - Members of the public may address exclusively the Mayor and members of the Board of Aldermen
during Public Comments ONLY. This Public Comments time is reserved for citizen comments regarding agenda and non"
agenda items. However,any item not listed on the agenda will be taken under advisement. Public comment on any agenda
item which has a Public Hearin should be reserved until the Public Hearing is opened and comments on such item will be
taken at that time. Each speaker is limited to 5 minutes.
LEGISLATIVE SESSION
1. CONSENT AGENDA
All matters listed under the Consent Agenda are considered to be routine by the Board of Aldermen and will be
enacted by one motion to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. There is no separate discussion of these
items. The Mayor or a member of the Board of Aldermen may request that any item be removed from the
Consent Agenda for discussion or explanation. If removed, it will be considered separately following approval of
the remaining items on the Consent Agenda. No motion is required to remove an Rem from the Consent Agenda.

R-2018-095: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS OUT OF
THE CITY TREASURY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2018-2019
WEEKS ENDING OCTOBER 26TH AND NOVEMBER 2ND IN THE AMOUNT OF
$468,827.31. Point of Contact: Finance Director Donna Oliver.
R-2018-096: A RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN POLICE EQUIPMENT TO BE
SURPLUS, AND AUTHORIZING ITS DISPOSAL. Point of Contact: Police Chief Chris
Skinrood.
R-2018-097: A RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN SELF CONTAINED BREATHING
APPARATUS EQUIPMENT TO BE SURPLUS, AUTHORIZING ITS DISPOSAL, AND
ACCEPTING A DONATION OF AUTOMATED CPR COMPRESSION DEVICE

R-2018-098: A RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER 2 TO THE AGREEMENT
WITH LARRISON CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR THE FITNESS COURT PROJECT (218-
018) RESULTING IN A REVISED CONTRACT AMOUNT OF $54,412.63 FOR SUCH
PURPOSES. Point of Contact: Capital Projects and Parks Manager Noel Challis.

THE REPLAT OF LOT 1, CONDOMINIUM PLAT OF BRIARCLIFF PROFESSIONAL
PLAZA OFFICE CONDOMINIUM, A SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,

2. First Reading: Bill No. 2018-053: AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A MUTUAL AID
AGREEMENT WITH THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION. Point of

3. First Reading: Bill No. 2018-054: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT
OF DANIEL MYER AS A FIREFIGHTER EMT IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND
ESTABLISHING A SALARY AND START DATE FOR SUCH EMPLOYEE. Point of
Contact: Fire Chief Gordon Fowlston.
4. First Reading: Bill No. 2018-055: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT
OF KOLIN BURGESS AS A FIREFIGHTER EMT IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND
ESTABLISHING A SALARY AND START DATE FOR SUCH EMPLOYEE. Point of

5. First Reading: Bill No. 2018-056: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING
PARTICIPATION IN THE MID-AMERICA REGIONAL COUNCIL SOLID WASTE
MANAGEMENT DISTRICT REGIONAL HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE
