AN ORDINANCE APPROVIlVG THE FORM OF, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO
COMPLE E ~ ~ SON & WITT 1NC. FUR APPRALSAL~SERVICES

WHEREAS, Dillon Bt Witt Inc. is in the business of providing professional services, including but
not limited to appraisal services (the "Services'; and
WHEREAS, the City of Riverside, Missouri (the "City''') has deom'mmed that the City requires the
Services for certain public improvement Projects, and that such Services are for a put-lic purpose, and the
City desires to retain Dillon & Witt to provide such Services; and
WHEREAS, the City has negotiated with Dillon & Witt and the City and Dillon & Witt have
reached an a (the "~ ~~1°g the provision of; and Payment for, such services.
NOW, THEItEI+'ORE, l6E ltT ORDAINED, by the Board of Aldermen of Riverside, Missouri, as
follows:
Section 1. The City of Riverside shall enter i~o the Agreement, to be substantially in the form

Dear Mr. Miles:
Pursuant to our conversation, please consider this my proposal to provide appraisal,
consulting and expert witness testimony (if necessary) to the City of Riverside on the above
matter. The fee for the production of a full before and after report, for use in a partial
acquisition, will be $2,750 per report.
All consulting and appraisal services will be performed in conformance with the Uniform
Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and the Standards of Professional
Practice of the Appraisal Institute. The purpose of this assignment is to develop an
independent conclusion concerning the real property and, thus, my contract for services is
in no way contingent upon reporting apre-determined analysis or opinion. My fee will be
due and payable upon receipt of my statement. Further, it is my intention that the
appraisal process employed herein in determination of just compensation be consistent
with state law relating to such matters.
I understand that in performance of these appraisal assignments you will furnish the
necessary information, such as plane, right-of-way maps, legal descriptions, ownership and
encumbrance certificates or title reports, etc.
