Minutes of Special Meeting of
Board of Aldermen of City of Riverside, Missouri

A special meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside, Missouri, was held in the
City Hall, of Riverside, Missouri, Apri126, 2004 at 6:30 p.m.
Those in attendance were Mayor Betty Burch, Looker, Legaard, Super and Beazd.
Alderman Burris and Darata Absent.
Also present were, David Blackburn, City Administrator, Chief Simpson and Matt Kitzi, City
Attorney's office.
Motion for Closed Alderman Beard moved that the meeting go into closed session, pursuant to
Session at 6:33 p.m RSMo 610.021(3) Personnel Matters with the City Attorney, seconded by
Alderman Looker, and the vote was:
Aldermen Beazd, Super, Looker and Legaazd.
Absent: Aldermen Burris and Darata.
Motion carries.
Motion for Open Alderman Looker moved that the meeting go into open session at 7:08 p.m
Session seconded by Alderman Legaazd, and the vote was:
Aye: Aldermen Looker, Legaazd, Beard and Super.
Absent: Aldermen Burris and Darata.
Motion carries.
Bill No. 2004-39 Alderman Beazd moved to place Bill No. 2004-39 on its first reading, said Bill
Amend. Chapt. 600 amending Chapter 600 of the Municipal Code of the City of Riverside, Missouri,
of the city code by by adding a provision regazding the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages
adding a provision: within the city pursuant to a temporary catering license, seconded by Alderman
the sale & consumption Looker, the vote was;

within the city pursuant
to a catering license Aye: Aldermen Legaazd, Beard, Super and Looker.
Absent: Aldermen Burris and Darata.
Motion carries.
Concert in the Pazk Kendra Minor with Argosy was present to speak with the board about their
discussion desire to have a concert in the E.H. Young Riverfront Park and sell alcohol.
The pazking situation was discussed and ports potties.

Alcohol sales in the Alderman Beard moved to approve Argosy selling alcohol in the E.H. Young
E.H. Young Riverfront Riverfront Pazk June 22, 2004 at a concert, by invitation only, and with the
Park, Approved condition Argosy provides the city with $2,000,000 of liability insurance and
completes a temporary "Catering Permit", seconded by Alderman Super,
the vote was:
Aye: Aldermen Looker, Legaard, Beazd and Super.
Absent, Aldermen Burris and Dazata.
Motion carries.
Adjournment By unanimous decision, the meeting adjourned at 7:22 p.m
