A RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR VEHICLE TOWING AND STORAGE
SERVICES
WHEREAS, an Invitation to Bid ("ITB") was issued for vehicle towing and storage
services; and
WHEREAS, upon review of the bid responses and further consideration of the ITB, City
staff determined that the ITB did not fully encompass certain aspects of services needed by the
City; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to evaluate bid responses on factors that are clearly
expressed in the ITB; and
WHEREAS,the City's intent is to revise and reissue the ITB; and
WHEREAS, in the ITB, the City reserved its right to reject any and all bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the Board of Aldermen hereby rejects all bids pertaining to the Invitation to Bid
for vehicle towing and storage services; and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator, Police Chief, and other
appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be deemed
necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to execute
and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements and other
documents, as may be necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein authorized.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
