A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING GROUP TERM LIFE INSURANCE BENEFITS
BEGINNING JULY 1, 2019.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the City of Riverside will provide its full-time employees with guaranteed
insurance coverage for group term life and accidental death and dismemberment through Kansas
City Life Insurance Company, effective July 1, 2019, at no-cost to the employee. The amount of
such coverage will be $50,000 per employee. The City's total monthly cost will be $592.50; and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator, Human Resources Manager and
other appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be
deemed necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this Resolution and to
execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates, instruments, agreements and
other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to perform all matters herein authorized.
PASSED ANDA OPTED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Riverside,
Missouri,the day of 2019.
