A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A QUIT CLAIM DEED FROM HORIZONS WEST LAND
LLC
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the Riverside Board of Aldermen ("Board") hereby accepts the quit-claim
deed, in substantially the form attached hereto, from Horizons West Land LLC, and
further authorizes the Mayor to execute such documents on behalf of the City; and
FURTHER THAT the City Clerk, or her designee, is hereby authorized and
directed to file a fully executed copy of the quit-claim deed with the Recorder of Deeds
in Platte County; and
FURTHER THAT the Mayor, the City Administrator, the City Attorney and other
appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to take any and all actions as may be
deemed necessary or convenient to carry out and comply with the intent of this
Resolution and to execute and deliver for and on behalf of the City all certificates,
instruments, agreements and other documents, as may be necessary or convenient to
perform all matters herein authorized.

QUITCLAIM DEED
THIS DEED, made this day of t\z3.& , 2019, between Horizons West Land

LLC, a Missouri limited liability company, Grantor, and the City of Riverside, Missouri, a
Missouri municipal corporation, 2950 N.W. Vivion Road, Riverside, Missouri 64150, Grantee.
WITNESSETH: In consideration of the payment of the sum of TEN DOLLARS AND
OTHER VALUABLE CONSIDERATION ($10.00 & O.V.C.), the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, Grantors do hereby REMISE, RELEASE, AND FOREVER QUITCLAIM to
Grantee, a tract of land, lying situated and being in the County of Platte, State of Missouri, to
wit:
All that part of the West Half of the Northeast Quarter of Fractional Section 7, Township 50
North, Range 33 West of the 5th P.M., City of Riverside, Platte County, and more particularly
described as follows;
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said West Half; thence N 89°24'06" W along the
North line of said West Half, 20.00 feet to a point on the West right of way line of Maddox
Road, said point being the Point of Beginning;
thence continuing N 89°24'06" W along said North line, 277.45 feet to the Easternmost
Northeast corner of Tract A of RIVERSIDE HORIZONS WEST FIRST PLAT, a subdivision in
said City of Riverside, Missouri;
thence S 00°32'18" W, along the East line of said Tract A, 25.00 feet;
thence departing said East line, S 89°24'06" E, 277.58 feet to a point on said Maddox
Road West right of way line;
thence N 00°20'16" E, along said right of way line, 25.00 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING. Said parcel contains 6937 square feet, or 0.159 acres, more or less.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAME, with all and singular rights, immunities,
privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging, unto Grantee, its successors and assigns
forever, so that neither Grantor nor their heirs, nor any other person or persons, for them or in
their name or behalf, shall or will hereafter claim or demand any right or title to the
aforementioned premises or any part thereof, but they and each of them shall, by these presents,
be excluded and forever barred.
