AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE I, CHAPTER 110 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, MISSOURI, BY REPEALING SECTION 110.100:
DUTIES OF CITY ENGINEER
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN FOR THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 110.100 of the Municipal Code is repealed in its entirety, and the
following section is adopted in lieu thereof: Section.110.100 Duties of the City Engineer. The
majority of the members elected to the Board of Aldermen shall select a person or professional
engineering firm to act as City Engineer. The person or firm shall be licensed in the State of
Missouri. The City Engineer shall advise the City in engineering matters as requested by the
City Administrator and oversee the retention and supervision of other engineers retained for
specialized work.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately.
